Download Instance Document

Description

The task of downloading an instance document is an entitlement of banks and vendors. The bank and/or vendor will download the instance documents from the CDR to ensure the data is in sync for the current submission.

 The download can occur through web services or directly through the CDR. The following procedure will outline the process in the CDR. To receive guidance on the web services download, please contact your software vendor.

Download Instance Document

1. Go to the following url: https://CDR.FFIEC.GOV/CDR.
   
   
2. Click on LOGIN to access the CDR application login screen.
   
   
3. Type in your User Name and Password and click on LOGIN.
   
   
4. From the options across the top of the screen, select Banks and Vendors.
   
   
5. From the options down the left side of the screen, select Download Instance Document.
   
   
6. Select the appropriate reporting cycle and select Search. It is not necessary to enter the institution or ID RSSD as the application will default to the institution associated with the user name and password used to login to the CDR. If all instance documents are desired, do not enter any search criteria and select Search.
   
   
7. Select the Download for the Reporting Cycle Name desired.
   
   
8. A pop-up window will appear.
   
   
9. Select Save.
   
   
10. Select where the document should be saved as well as a name for the document and select Save.
    
    
11. Select Open to open the document.
