Download Test Instance Document

Description

The task of downloading a test instance document is an entitlement of banks and vendors. The vendor will download the test instance documents from the CDR to ensure the data is available for a download.

The test download can occur through web services or directly through the CDR. The following procedure will outline the process in the CDR. To receive guidance on the web services download, please contact your software vendor.

Download Instance Document

1. Go to the following url: https://CDR.FFIEC.GOV/CDR.
   
   
2. Click on LOGIN to access the CDR application login screen.
   
   
3. Type in your User Name and Password and click on LOGIN.
   
   
4. From the options across the top of the screen, select Vendors.
   
   
5. From the options down the left side of the screen, select Download Instance Document.
   
   
6. Select the radio button for the environment of the Instance document - Select Environment Type.
   
   
7. Select the ID RSSD, reporting cycle and select Search. If all instance documents are desired, do not enter any search criteria and select Search.
   
   
8. Select the Download for the specific instance document desired.
   
   
9. A pop-up window will appear with options to Open, Save or Cancel.
   
   
10. Select Save.
    
    
11. Select a destination where the document should be saved as well as a name for the document and select Save.
    
    
12. Select Open to open the document.
