Vendor Overview

The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) Call Report Agencies (FDIC, FRB, and OCC) have developed a new secure, shared database for collecting and managing quarterly Call Report data. The Central Data Repository (CDR) was implemented on October 2005.

The October 2005 implementation of the CDR marked a revolution in the way that Call Report data are collected, validated, managed, and distributed. Under this new system, institutions will file their Call Report data via the Internet using software that contains the FFIEC’s edits for validating Call Report data before submission. Business model changes the Vendor will see are a centralized meta-data management process, the use of XBRL for inputs and outputs, and Vendors will support the pre-validation requirement, reporter authentication, authorization and file format. Additionally, historical data will now be available for edits.

The user guide links will provide guidance on topics like enrollment, security, and Vendor/FI affiliation.
