How do I get my password reset?
Click on the LOGIN link and proceed to the next screen.   Click on the Forgot Your Password? link and follow the instructions.

Is there any detailed guidance on resetting passwords?
Click on the Help link in the top right-hand corner of the CDR screen, then click on the FFIEC Analyst link and go to the Password Reset guidelines under the Security document on the right-hand side of the page.   You may also call the Help Desk at 1-888-CDR-3111 during normal business hours or submit a question by clicking the Contact Us link.

What happens if I forgot my User Name?
Contact your DSA or call the Help Desk at 1-888-CDR-3111 during normal business hours and a Help Desk analyst will assist you.

How many times may I attempt my password before my account is disabled?
Accounts will be deactivated after five failed login attempts. Deactivated accounts will not reset. If your account becomes disabled, it will need to be reactivated by your DSA.
If you cannot remember your password, use the Forgot Your Password feature or contact the CDR Help Desk to have your password reset.

Does the Help Desk analyst provide assistance on accounting and other financial related questions?
No, the Help Desk is not responsible for any accounting questions.  FFIEC analysts are responsible for resolving these matters.

Does the Help Desk analyst provide assistance on submitting reports to the CDR.?
No, the Help Desk is not responsible for any Call Report processing related questions.  FFIEC analysts and/or Software Vendors are responsible for resolving these matters.

How much access to the CDR system does the Help Desk have?
The Help Desk has limited access to the CDR. Please speak with your DSA if you are uncertain if your question is appropriate for the Help Desk.

Are financial institutions allowed to have more than one DSA?
Yes, all financial institutions submitting Call Reports should have at least two DSAs.

How does a financial institution update a User Role to create an additional DSA?
For instructions, click on the Help link in the upper right-hand corner of the CDR page, then click on the Financial Institutions link, and go to the Account Request Approval link under Enrollment on the right hand-side of the page. Follow the instructions.

How do I update my User Role or another user’s role in the CDR?
If you are a DSA, follow the instructions from the preceding question. If not, contact your DSA for assistance.

What are Reportability Rules and how are they updated?
Reportability Rules are mathematical formulas that determine which concepts an FI must report or supply values for on the Call Report. For more information on viewing and updating reportability rules, go to the Reportability Rules guidelines in the Panel of Reporters document on the right-hand side of the FFIEC Analyst Help page.

What is the Central Data Repository (CDR)?
The CDR is the official repository for Call Report information submitted by respondents, the reporting requirements, and the sole source of data for Agency systems that rely upon such data.   FFIEC Call analysts use the CDR to view reported data, review edit failures and the required edit explanations, and accept or require resubmission of Call Report data.

What is a Delegated Site Administrator (DSA)?
The DSA is responsible for managing users at his or her site. Specifically, he or she will be responsible for approving, viewing, updating and deleting user account requests.

Who is my DSA?
Selecting a DSA is a business decision by each organization.   Usually the DSA is a manager or Call Report leader. Each organization should have more then one DSA. For further information refer to “What is a DSA?” above.

How do I get enrolled?
Click on the LOGIN link on the main page and proceed to the next screen.   Click on Request an Account and follow the instructions.  After completing the account information, your Delegated Site Administrator (DSA) will receive an email requesting your account approval.

What is the RSSD ID and where can I find it?
A unique identifying number assigned by the Federal Reserve for all financial institutions, main offices, as well as branches.  The CDR has a look-up facility for this identifier.

What is an acceptable password?

What is a secret question?
A secret question is a technique used by the CDR to help validate you as a user in case you forget your password.   By verifying the response to a pre-determined question, you will be able to reset your password without assistance from the Help Desk.

Is there any additional training available for the CDR?
Click on the Help link in the top right-hand corner of the CDR page and then click on the appropriate user link for many help functions such as FAQs, a glossary, procedures and many links that will provide direction on how to use the system at the CDR website.
