February, 2025

Under the direction of the FFIEC's Task Force on Surveillance Systems, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council members are making changes to the Interest Rate Risk page of the UBPR on or shortly after February 22, 2025. These changes are part of a previously announced ongoing multiyear review of Uniform Bank Performance Report content. July, 2024

Under the direction of the FFIEC's Task Force on Surveillance Systems, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council members will be removing line items on the UBPR that have returned null values for all institutions for at least the last five years. These changes are part of a previously announced ongoing multiyear review of Uniform Bank Performance Report content. These changes are part of a previously announced ongoing multiyear review of Uniform Bank Performance Report content. These changes are part of a previously announced ongoing multiyear review of Uniform Bank Performance Report content. October, 2022

The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council's member agencies have begun a multi-year review of Uniform Bank Performance Report's content to ensure it remains current and relevant. As part of this content review, which is being led by the Task Force on Surveillance Systems, the FFIEC will introduce an updated UBPR Summary Ratios page on October 12, 2022. December, 2021

My New UBPR Page -- Users logged into the PDD site can now consolidate UBPR line items from any of the existing UBPR pages on the new My UBPR Page. My UBPR displays as the first page after the cover page, and uses the column format from the original line item. The Interactive Online User's Guide, 5Q trend, graphing, print and download features are available on the My UBPR Page. Users can select and manage the line items to be displayed from the Customize My UBPR Page option or by selecting line item directly from any UBPR page. Interactive Online User's Guide for the Custom Peer Group Bank Report -- The Custom Peer Group Bank Report now provides access to the UBPR Interactive Online User's Guide, which provides users with the ability to select any UBPR line item to drill down to the line item's data elements and formulas.

Search by OCC Charter Number -- Users can now search for and generate a UBPR based on a bank's OCC Charter number.

 

December, 2019

The financial institution regulatory agencies have added additional enhancements to the UBPR including a new Executive Summary Report. This new report is intended for financial institution Executives to easily see trends of an institution's key ratios. Another major enhancement made at this time is a new Multiple Bank Report allowing a user to compare a bank's detailed UBPR against up to 30 other institutions. Users will also now have the ability to create an account on the system allowing them to run UBPRs for recently viewed and favorite banks, and to save peer group lists to quickly run custom peer group reports. Users will still be able to access the UBPR in the same manner and the reports retain all of their current look and functionality. These changes should allow users to more efficiently analyze institution trends. The financial institution regulatory agencies have added graphing capabilities to the UBPR. Users will still access the UBPR in the same manner and the report will retain all of its current look and functionality. These changes should allow users to more efficiently analyze institution trends and report on specific ratios to senior management and other interested parties. The Central Data Repository's user interface has been redesigned to improve usability and provide an improved overall user experience. These design enhancements provide a more consistent look and feel across all pages and provide easier and quicker access to data.

 

September, 2012

The UBPR Liquidity and Funding pages, 10 and 10A, have been revised to give users a more focused review of liquidity and funding-based measures. The UBPR Fiduciary and Related Services pages, 14 and 14A, have been revised to include items added to the Call Report Schedule RC-T beginning with the December 31, 2009 Call Report. Additionally, supplemental peer groups have been created to facilitate analysis for mutually-owned and stock-owned savings associations. A new online UBPR User's Guide has been developed to better assist users to understand how UBPR ratios and monetary values are derived. The new UBPR User's Guide is available in an online format, as well as a separate PDF format. The new UBPR User's Guides are based off of the Central Data Repository (CDR) taxonomy that is used to store both Call Report and UBPR concepts. September, 2011

With the implementation of the Dodd Frank Act and sunset of the Office of Thrift Supervision on July 21, 2011, all thrifts are required to submit Call Reports instead of Thrift Financial Reports effective March 2012. Call Reports can be viewed using the Public Data Distribution web site.

Uniform Bank Performance Report (UBPR) data is now available on the CDR PDD site.

For any search, the new "Download Results" tab can be used to view and download the resulting list of institutions. Included in the file is a link to the report form.

 

December, 2008

Bulk Data is now available from the PDD Website. In addition, data can be automatically downloaded using the Public Web Service (PWS).

Bulk Data available from the PDD Web site:

  • Call Reports - Single Period
    All instance documents for all filers for a single period. This product is available in two download formats:
    • Tab Delimited Format (TDF)
    • eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL), which can only be viewed with certain software applications.
  • Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Past Due - Four Periods

    The reported data from these selected schedules (Schedules RC, RI, and RC-N) of the Call Reports includes all filers for a year (four periods in a calendar year). This product is only available in Tab Delimited Format.

Public Web Service

You must create an account before you can use the web service to download data. Select "Manage My Web Service Account".

Options:

  • Reporting Periods

    Provides a list of the reporting periods available for a designated data series.
  • Panel of Reporters

    Provides a list of financial institutions that reported data for the given data series and reporting period.
  • Filers Since Date

    Provides a list of financial institutions that have filed after the date and time provided in the request.
  • Instance Document Facsimile

    Provides an instance document for a given reporting period and filer.
